BocMeow ’s Mission Statement
Our priority is to provide quality life care to all of our furry and feathered clients. Their safety, health and happiness are our number one concern. At BocMeow, our animal clients are getting more than food in a bowl and fresh water. Each animal is unique which is why we pay attention to every little detail in order to ensure quality care with unconditional love.
BocMeow Requirements
It is very important that BocMeow clients are as informed as much as possible. Please read our requirements very carefully. Always feel free to ask any questions. Before you get any further, please make sure you are aware of our coverage location. (Take Note: This is only a brief version of our service agreement/key contract).
- Scheduling appointments: All appointments are to be scheduled on our website. If a confirmation email is not sent within 24 hours, ALWAYS contact BocMeow immediately via email or phone call to make sure your request has been received. Never ASSUME your requests were received if confirmation was not given. Sign up for appointments HERE (new clients be sure to click “register here”).
- Updates: Upon request, we will send emails/text messages or leave voicemails to give you peace of mind while you are away from your pet. However, we only do so between the hours of 8 AM and 5 PM. Please be sure to let us know in advance if you would like to receive updates.
- Refusal of Service: BocMeow Pet Care reserves the right to refuse service to anyone. If there is even the slightest hint of animal abuse, whether harsh training, lack of food/water, limited and filthy space, etc we are obligated to report any cases of neglect.
- Payments: First time clients must give full payment during the consultation visit. Invoice will be subject to a $20.00 fee for every 10 days the payment is late.
- Holiday Fee: On the holidays of New Years Eve, New Years Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, and Christmas Day - a holiday fee of $10.00 will be applied to all visits
- Returning Home: All clients must let BocMeow know when they have returned from their trip. Otherwise we will continue to visit your pets. Additional visits will be added and charged to your invoice.
- Off Leash Dogs and Outside Cats: We do not provide care for cats that are allowed to roam free outside while you are away. We also do not allow any dogs to be off leash under our care unless they are in their secure fenced yard at home.
- Dogs in crates/garages: We will not provide care for dogs that are kept outside only, in crates or garages. It is stressful enough that they are adjusting to life without their humans for a number of days. To be limited in space will only add to their stress.
- Number of Visits: We require a minimum of 1 visit every 24 hours for cats but highly recommend 1 visit every 12 hours. For Dogs we require a minimum of 1 visit every 12 hours but highly recommend 3 visits per day. This is for the safety and health of your pets.
- Keys: We require 2 copies of your key. Keys can either remain with BocMeow in a secure location or be returned after service. There is a $20.00 fee for key pick up and drop off each time. We MUST always have 2 copies during time of service.
- Reservations: All reservations must be made as early as possible. We can only take in a limited number of pets as quality is our focus, not quantity. New clients should give at least 7 days notice in order to schedule a consultation. If less than 7 days, there will be an additional fee of $20.00 added due to schedule adjustment. For major holidays, requests must be made AT LEAST 2 weeks in advance. Otherwise, we cannot guarantee availability.
- Last Minute Requests: We cannot take in last minute requests for new clients. Last minute includes service requested within 24 hours. Regular clients will incur an additional $15.00 for requests made within 24 hours or less due to schedule adjustment.
- Emergencies: Be prepared to have a plan written out and accessible to BocMeow in the event of ANY emergency, i.e. medical reasons, natural disasters (earthquakes), etc. In the event of a natural disaster, we will do everything we can to continue caring for your pets but it is necessary to have a backup plan if we are somehow unavailable due to any type of natural disaster. We must have access to all emergency plans prior to clients leaving town. We require a minimum of 3 emergency contacts with phone numbers (in addition to client’s contact info.)
- Coverage Area: We only provide service to Manhattan Beach, Hermosa Beach, North Redondo, North and West Torrance, Hawthorne and Lawndale. We are not a boarding/day care facility.
